Same set up as yesterday, Tabou 135, KA 7.5 and Choco 40.

Breeze very soft, in the end, it just switched off, weird breeze doing that, normally it builds in the afternoon. Just went from 13-15 down to 10-11 in a 15 minute period.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Rigged 6.5 which was OK for a while on the 98 RRD, but as the wind slowly dropped so did the pleasure. Changed to Iso 122 and did some practice tacks and gybes.

Great days sailing starting off with the Safety Bay Marathon, which had a great turnout and was well organised - Kudos to Mark and the rest of the crew at WWA for organising this great event! Cool

Rigged the 7.0/90/32 Combo for the race and was a bit nervous as I hadn't used this setup before but a quick practise run reassured me that it worked alright, so back to the beach to wait for the start. Marginally powered but comfortable on the setup I had so made for a nice bit of blasting and the course was well laid out. Had some great drags with Ado which was exciting as we approached the finish. Sailed back upwind (the epic mission) to get the car and then drove back down to the pond for round 2.

Had a chat with Mark and a few others and then back out on the 90/7.0/32 combo , this time with the mast track in a new spot (THANKS MARK!!!! Wink) COMBO WAS SMOKING NOW!!! Wind backed off for a while and Le Sam arrived just as it came back in. Had an absolutely fantastic second session blasting on super flat water chasing Sammy around in about 16-18 knots of wind - Some great drags mate, that was super fun!. Stoked with how easily the 7.0 handles speed (keen to see if I can squeeze a few 35s out of this setup Tongue out) and the iso felt greeeeeeeeatt finally Cool Sailed till sunset and thenn raced to pack up in the dark.

Big day and one of the best days sailing in a long while. New respect for the beasty, lovely iso Laughing

Glad you got that iSonic dialled in at last Jake. Where did you put the mast base, and where was it before?

Congrats on the PB Damo.

Still no time to get out on the water. Frown Looked like a lovely day out there.
