is111, LE40 then tribal 33 7.5 T4 Just enough wind when I arrived at Melville, picked up after I hit the water and for a while I was a tad overpowered on the turns.

Tide was too low to sail over the sandbar, so the runs were very short - the nm has 4 turns in it. The sand bar has changed shape over the winter and the water is still brownish so it is hard to tell where the sandbar starts. You just get comfy in a run and then it is time to turn already, if you have not already run aground. Oh well, I need lots of gybe and tacking proctice and I got it today. I should have counted how many turns there were.

I hope someone else got out today so we can get on the board for October at least. Sorry for not sending out emails but the forecast didn't look too promising this morning and I went to the river directly after work.

Windfoil Waylen Bay

Great to get out after work and good conditions for foiling. A very summery feel with plenty out at Peli Point.

Pelican Point, WA, AU.  117 Futura 7.5 Koncept 42 RTR. First decent sail (out of 3) for me since Windforce closed. Great to get blasting again! The windsurfing muscles need to be tuned I got tired after about 33km and more gybe practice required to try and get them more fluid. Was good fun cruising with some faces that I haven't seen in a while. looking forward to seeing more of the team out and getting my skills and fitness back. Smile

Leighton Beach, WA

Super-steady 16 knot seabreeze. A bit underpowered but happy to have flushed out the flu Smile

Good to see Ken racking up serious kms on his first Leighton session and Norts finally back on the water.

Isonic 107,  Simmer XC 7.1  Tribal 35 weedy and Carpenter 37.5 - thanks Norts

Leighton Beach, WA, AU

First sail at Leighton with JJ and Recycle. It looked fairly windy when we got there but was only about 15-18 knots. JJ bared away so far downwind he was out of sight half the time. I had one attempt at a NM and got startled when I sailed past a couple of whales. Pretty spectacular sight. Will have to come down again.

Hi everyone

been a long time between posts but I really haven't been on the water very much

however when I have managed to get out I've been clocking up the hours on the foil

have recently updated my foil and board to the np f4 carbon foil with big and small wings and a 135 jp hydrofoil board

pretty hard to describe how incredible this kit can make a day on the water feel, but I can at least say I am extremely happy with my purchase and HIGHLY recomend the gear

the numbers may seem a bit pedestrian for a windsurfer but they aren't slow for a foil and I can report that it is an absolute rush blasting downwind through the middle of the river at top speed flying over the big chop on the foil, however I can also report that I did have a couple of offs that reminded me of coming off the windsurfer going alot faster (ouch)

lots of milestones reached today, all the numbers are my best ever on the foil but probably the thing I've been trying to crack much harder and concentrating on came together today, I pulled off my first legitimate fully foiling jibe Laughing very stokedLaughing still LOTS of practice though to get it happening consistently

Fantastic company out there today with Snides, Cheryl and Lunny the other windfoilers getting an honourable mention, good to see them all get a great summery sesh

also fun to match up with the nacra 15's, foiling A class cat and Moths of which I seemed to have very competative pace with all

Really looking foreward to summer and hope to get the gps on my arm a bit more often

Cheers Cool
