Another day in chop city, was better than yesterday with more consistant wind but not as strong in the gusts, took a massive stack on one of the down wind runs mis timed the chop and straight over the handle bars, poor manta took a hit to the nose nothing a bit of kneed it can't fix:) Good to see Damo getting amongst it, Ken flying around, Ben and Jase contemplating going out, nice to catch up. Another session tommorow if the wind keeps up, time for some repairs on the board ready for tommorow:)

WindTech 64 cm , 6.3 Ka Race , 29 cm Wingfin. Had a great sail, everything felt spot on just not quite enough wind to get flying. Days like these you feel lucky to do what we do. Pure joy.

Good to get out in what was pretty good conditions for winter despite a few holes.

Great to see Ken, Boz, Jase and JJ on shore.

Heaps of fun out in the middle flying over the chop but couldn't join the gusts for a NM Smile

Up and down wind up to about 25 knots with a bit of sunshine. It was hard work for me today but the other Pinnas were showing how its done in some serious chop. More fun tomorrow.

Boz , if it's any consolation I lost concentration, fell asleep at the boom and face planted at around 30 knots. No damage, a bit sore , but it sure snaps you back into reality and you realise how quickly it can bite you.  And it wasn't even that windy. Hope you're ok.

Cheers Neil, lack of concentration planted nose in the chop, oops, sudden stop sent me flying, no damage to me just the nose of the board all good now patched up ready for another session. Yep got to keep your wits about you in the chop on the outside same here was a face plant at speed, not windy at all just mis timed, could have done with a bit more wind for the KAR 5.5 but tommorow another day. Same here rest those sore bones of yours another sesh tommorow hopefully.

Nice work team! It looked lovely out there this afternoon - not too cold and even a bit sunny. Sorry I couldn't join you!

It is good to see a couple of good solid hours there, and the other numbers are very handy too.

Windtech - a fast nm for a choppy river with storm surge - that must have been very exciting! - and 6 jellybeans too, well done!
