One lucky gust for the 2sec, minutes before was swimming due to no wind and waiting for a bit just to water start, very gusty today with only enough for single runs to the bank then waiting for another gust to get back, still fun to put the old school board through its pace, lets see what tommorow brings just for laughs to see how fast the Drops can really go.

I got out late as the wind started dropping, got one semi powered run, the wind dropped  off and then floated around between testing fins.  Caught up with the drunken foiler and Scott on his new S2 Maui 7.0 . Looked amazing and seemed to go pretty well too.

Very gusty at Peli but had to try the new 7.0 (love it). Managed to crack the deck on the RRD again but no idea how. A few quick runs on the Windtech 64 & 57 as the wind was fading. Incredible how they get onto the plane in almost no wind!

Well spotted, Kenny! Congratulations on a pretty quick 15000 km Boz! You have been a very valuable addition to the team.

Here's to another 15 000. I wonder how many boards that will take (break)?

Anita on average it’s been a board every 3500K’s so far 4 boards, also on my 4th KAR 6.3 in just over 2yrs😁 Pete the peak was on my first run just after no wind then a nice gust, water still flat from the lull just beforehand peaked at 37.3kn 35 10sec, after that it was 33’s 34’s in the gusts.

Time to give up on the Manta’s Boz. Drops is the new speedboard. Well done on the 15k milestone.

Agreed Tim, or maybe a custom board based on old school design. Probably would need to be reinforced with kevlarLaughing

Kenny you do know I had a well known board designer make me a board in the 90’s with carbon/Kevlar bloody quick only thing it lasted the 1 session at Leighton, was 5.5kg at the start of the session 9kg end of the session😁 like I said anyone got a tiga 260? Still no guarantee that would last, the last one foam snapped made it extra bendy 😁

Glad to see someone else dd sail yesterday. Pinnaroos on the board in #1 spot. Great work, team!

It must have been light for Neil to put in a sub 10 knot hour.
