Wow must be a record for the shortest run ever, all set for early morning bash, rigged by 6:30 was howling enough for the 5.5 but as soon as I rigged wind droped out, waited around even andrew rocked up, chin wag and more chin wagging until one gust camne through so bolted to get on the water. Yep one run you can see the run on the track a very slow dawdle to the shore line as the wind dropped out and a walk of shame back to the the carpark area, good luck for the rest of the day guys I think I've set the benchmark for the shortest sail in history for the Pinnas.

Drops KAR 5.5

It was looking like a skunking with a glass off then it came in quite nicely.

Got the Windtech 57 and 64 ready to go but only used the 64 as i was having a cracker time with itSmile

Best 2sec, alpha and NM so far with this board.

Great to catch up with some friendly faces

Up early to see Boz make his one run this morning, finally convinced my self to get wet in the afternoon. It was warmer than I expected but also less windy than I expected

At the last minute, I decided a trip to Coods was required. Definately a good call. Lunny and Woody was already on the water along with a few mobsters and stroppo. For a frontal system, it was reasonable consistent for the setup. After not sailing for about 5 weeks the body was feeling it, so took it quite easy. Pretty good conditions to get back into it quite flat, even if it was bloody cold getting out of the wettie.

Arrived to mirror like water at midday which soon turned to some nice SW gusts. Tried the Manta 54 and 59 with the Vapor 6.4 and CL delta 18. The bigger board felt better and was quicker. Plenty of good company too.

Not a bad sail. Short and sweet but I miss summer already. Started on the f2 105L which was working well then the wind picked up so I switched to the isonic 86L to avoid total lift off. Only felt like I had one propper run on the isonic before the wind dropped off. Felt like I've forgotten how to sail so wasn't able to make the most of the wind I had. Fortunately teh water wasn't as unseasonaly chillie as the air was.

Nice one guys, looks like Coods was the right call. Cool

I missioned down to Safety Bay (after a morning run to Melville for no return).  Got on the water just after 2 and the breeze belted in to 25-30K...I was over-powered on the 6.6.

Got out to the speed run and there was no water over the bar at all, the water was lapping around my ankles Yell

Dunno why the tide was so low, the tide at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour was 0.8m, which should've been plenty for the Beaver.

Pulled the pin, cos there was no flat water in the pond with the nuking wind.

Didn't have time for the drive to Coods, so I checked out Melville on the way home, but it was dead.

So lots of driving today but buggerall sailing Undecided

Greg – you should’ve come wave sailing at Dutchies. Good size waves - gusty, 5-30 knots but great fun.

Great work in challenging conditions, team! You made the most of some flukey conditions and kudos to everyone who braved the almost arctic conditions!
