Well that was a bit full on! Cool to say the least

With the tide being so high, no one seemed to know whether to go out or sit back and wait for someone else!! As a Fangyland virgin, and the conditions that left everyone gobsmacked, it wasnt going to be me !!!  ha ha

But eventually took to the water and well, how rough and fun was that!!

Oaf and Lunny lead by example, and helped out with some pretty good (and safe) local knowledge! Thanks guys. Im sure you could tell it was appreciated with the ear to ear grin after the only speed runs we could find. Windsup came through and gave everyone some entertainment with some pretty awesome numbers, making the testing conditions looks oh so easy!

It was also great to chat to the other locals including Fangman, Firie, Shane, Decrepit and Jonski. Thanks for making the busso boys feel welcome. I'll look forward to coming back when the conditions are not so cyclonic!! Surprised

Dave made some good numbers for the gear he was on, so that was pretty cool too, faster than lake george and 10 times as difficult

AB+59 Tribal WS 29 NP Hornet 6.2

A new location and as the locals pointed out it was "rough"! Well not really really rough like the ocean was but as a speed strip i needed a few runs with a grader.

I was fully lit with the 6.2 and schlogging too. You get that. The AB+ really suprised me on the strip with a nice get up & go, I always knew she could. The couditions were far from perfect and the numbers frmo the session really show this. There were plenty standing around and pointing out the "Surge" but when the first board hit the water we were all out.

It was great to meet the fellas that frequent Fangys (and Fangy too) and Steve and i will be looking to get back up for a speed session when its "ON"!

Look out.

Nice work Dave and Steve. Top 2/3 speeds for you, you’ll rack up some PBs very quickly if you can get back in better conditions

Nice to meet you guys, I think we had some fun out there. Well done on the numbers, not PBs but top 5s for both of you, which is always good.

Would have like to join you guys out there, but the conditions just didn't speak to me, Well yes they did, but in a very negative way.

Glad you enjoyed!

I guess we are just really spoiled, and you guys are a bit starved.
