Interesting.... wanted a distance PB today, but the wind just didnt pay ball!!

After sprinkling some concrete in Dave's coffee this morning, and rounding up Chris who was late because of excess whisky's last night (his b'day today!)we were seeking divine intervention from the main man of Australind, Mr Stretch. His call on the day was NO BOOMBAS RUN..... great call, but no wind in Australind either...... lots of sun though....and lots of dolphins !!

After taking as much ribbing as possible for only packing a 87L Isonic as the biggest board (ie its your fault there's no wind...are you carrying a tow rope for the trip back etc Surprised), I thought it was best to lead by example and was the first on the water. Lots of drifting, a pretty cool race of drifting with Dave and Stretch which left me wondering how I managed to get to the other side of the estuary first??? WTF?? Did you boys throw the race??

A couple of nice runs in the gusts, but more drifting than sailing so the PB wentout the door. Next time

Streetbob ran out of wind on the otherside, but made it back in one piece, so will be celebrating hard tonight for birthday drinkie time.

Zuls rocked up later but showed us how fast he is, even when he's not trying.... good work mate. Wink

Great to see Slugger in the carpark and that he's on the road to the recovery from last week's big crash,

Skunked, thats all we got. The amount of schlogging that we all dis was pretty close to half out TOW.

Great to have 4 OMK team riders on the water together again and keepinf Stretchy company all by his MM lonesome. A big thanks to stretchy for holding back and letting Olde Salte beat us both.

Well today didnt happen like the forecast and we were all thankfull that we decided to stay in Bunno and not travel to be skunked. On leaving Busso Steve Chris (birthday boy) and I left 25knts onshore lumpyness for what we anticipated as flat windy goodness. Certainly was flat but alsa no wind in our area. We went out on our biggest kit from the trailer and that at times wasnt even enough. No breaks no injuries and basically an ok sail when the gusts came through. The fickle conditions allowed us to perfect out non planong gybes and floating prowesses. Fingers crossed for the next cold front to deliver to us the goody goodness.
