JPSL66 Tribal WS 29 NP Hellcat 6.7

Nice session today with Steve and then Ratz for a while. I was up and down so i stuck with the SL66 and mucked around with rig settings as the conditions changed. I took me quite a while to get settled and comfy but as it happened i sort of found my groove. Steve was getting dizzy going back and forward like the machine that he is and his distance shows that, well done mate. Weed was thick in places but we were able to slice through it at speed but if you got caught off the throttle it grabbed the WS. Quick bounce and she cleared fine. We had a chat and Steve was infront on the K's (obviously) and on speed too. Something had to be done so i was on the hunt to get my nose bace in front there. I have to come out on top on one of the numbers.

A nice session mid week and will see how the weather performs next time out.

Everything was feeling just right today. No super top speed but everything else felt good, and the gybes felt oh so sweet!! Nice when they are no effort at all!!

Easy cruisy day with Dave and Ratz, ups and downs in the wind, but finally I think i chose well with the gear. Right Board right sail right fin!! Hallelujah!!

Now who was it who said "bergs with seagulls, no worries, berg with Pelicans, maybe not so lucky"? Oaf?? Surprised I think Dave chased the pelicans away before a big hit on a reach.... sore ankles from the foot straps after that one, and the cojones definitely got a whole lot smaller!!! No crazy runs into the shallows after that one with the tide dropping during the arvo.

Yeah, you are right Steve, but it's an easy mistake to make because Dave sets the bar pretty low.Laughing
