Old Salt (13613km): A big slap in the face with a wet fish! And the fat lip to show for it. Who would have thought? And cant say thats happened before
Otherwise a quiet day on the water. Wind was dropping and water was bloody shallow! Not a good sign when the water is below my knees....given that I may be the shortest windsurfer in history !!
Great NM's to Ratz and SluGger earlier in the day! top work fellas El Capitan Dave was still out when I left towards the end of the day. Will be interested to see his numbers.

BSN101 (13378km): JP SS125 Tribal WS29 NP RSX Convert7.0. Nice little session after not really knowing what or who to expect. The local boys went early and looks like they had a great time. Steve arrived when i thought he was not coming. Glad to have the team support and he looked very settled on the water gybe after gybe after gybe etc etc etc!!!I was on new kit, second outing for both board & sail. Sail was stable but heavy. A touch more DH might be on the cards next time. The board is great, comfy and fast enought given the conditions. Im suprised by the NM being high and the Alpha being low. It was after low tide and i worked my way right out as i had a 29 fin. Went up the nthern end to see if i could get a NM but i didnt time it well enough. Lots of back & forth with gybes and port tacks, very happy got about 10. it was getting late and steve had just gone in and one other (Laurent?) was out. wind was still up & down so i headed north again, a bit better run but towards 5:45 the wind picked up & swung and the water went flat. If my buddy had have stayed out id have dine another 10km distance. Plenty of weed and some burgs, rays, crabs but seriously, chops slapping fish. I think me 2IC is a bit unwell. Dead camera battery today Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU |
