Day out at Glory Holes, with most of the team. Wind up and down all day. Ended up having a go on Daves gear. WHAT a difference................

Thanks to Chris for the lift up and hope Steves wrist is ok.

The sail was too small then, too much. Board was great sub planer then a little flighty.

Managed to get the trim to be flying the fin a little but still got to get it right.

The sail was fine really most of the time and given that it was 7.7 I'm very happy with results.

So happy to have so many OMKers down together, Steve Chris Drew Marcus. Laurent was moving house so was unable to join in. Stretchy & Lachy showed up and I'm yet to see Stretchys speeds. And a real late showing by Boz just as the big storm came through, he and Stretchy blitzed it and i was a bit overdone.

A great day with plenty of talent on the water.

Headed to the north of the inlet today, now formally named by Stretch as "Sluggers Cesspool", to take advantage of the flat water. With a big turnout from OMK, was always going to be good.

Then the pin on the mast base flicked out and caught my wrist just before launch, and ruptured a vein! Wow, the wrist swelled instantly with a huge egg shape full of blood, so had to raid the Wild Turkey esky for ice, and sit out the first part of the session.

45 mins later, Ice, then a compression bandage to stop the blood flow (thanks Chris), a bit of duct tape and a bit of gusto, and finally on the water.

Turns out that was dumb, 9 km later I had to come off the water without any feeling in my hand half way down my forearm.

But, did get over 30 knots without being able to hold on other than with a crab hand, so I was happy with that.

Good to see Chris, Drew, Dave, Zuls, Boz, Lachy and Stretch all out there dredging between gusts. I'll be interested to see the posts. Some good 2s I think.

I wish Dave - or I might have done a Slugger! We will never know. I will just have to bring my balls along next time and some arm muscles.

Well done on all the pb's.

Great to see the PB's Chris and Drew, knew that the 2secs would be good. You guys delivered in very patchy conditions.

Here you go Stretch.... outcome from the " tweaked a pinky whilst tightening up his corset "

Thats WHY I stopped.

Must have been desperate for a sail, given I did that BEFORE I went out. Maybe indicates a new level of Stoopid
