2066 days ago Another adventure with Hoppy! ON, Off, Rough, sorta smooth 0knts to 25, and 1 30knt squall. It all started with a meet up a voodo land, NO WATER, what the the high pressure & the northly had pushed the water out of the bay with the wind forecast to drop out we decided to head back to Stansbury even thou the tide was too high for smooth water, any water is better than waiting for the tide & missing the wind. Rigged the Loft RB 5,6 on the Isonic 87 LWSSW 27 one run out and was clipping like crazy What The back in to change fin. Got the Fangy crusher out of winter hibernation as the tide was still headding out. Clocked a few good runs then the wind was twitching up & down. Went too far out the back & fluffed a jibe in the dieing wind and spent 5min over my head in the cold water not able to water start . Anothe burst of wind and a few more nice runs (shudda headed in) but spent the next 40 min feet under water sludging along sub planing to get back in. Was just one of those days,,,,,,,,,,,

Fun day searching for a place to sail. Mud flats exposed at Pt Vic so off to Stansbury. The razor fish were a real problem today. Clickety click click crunch everywhere on the spit. The 25 has chinks on it half way up. Found some speed in the gusts out the back but ran into trouble on the spit with low water. Should have been enough water to get over it but this large weather system was effecting the tide. Walked to deeper water quite a few times, too many times. Tricky was sailing well and found good speed. Enjoyed the day
