Voodoo Land

F2 SXs90, NP Evo5.4, FF22 Sid Vicious

Me and tricky had a great time today. The tide was a bit high at Stansbury so off to Voodoo to try the NM run. I left Minlaton with the North wind blowing 25-35 knots gusty and arrived at Port Vic to only 20-25+. The tide height was right for some NM fun and had a bit of a sail around, looking at the bottom and feeling safe with what i saw. No good trying for the hour as there were wind shaddows on the Western side on Starboard gybe. Had a conference with Tricky and we decided to hit the NM which was a lot of fun. Started it with small chop for the first few hundred meters then onto some white bottom chop and kept curving onto some small chop to finish. The wind died out to almost nothing so waddled back to base and called it quits. Couple of beers with Trick finished a great little session.Smile

Bunta Bogan Blast at VooDo landSurprised Great call Hoppy, rigged the 5.6Loft RB but pondered the 6.3 as it turned out the 5.6 was right about 70% of the time but never fully lit. The Isonic87 FFF21 was a great combo. Did some Oty runs till the legs were worn out. was a pitty that there was a choppy middle bit that slowed us down. did my peak in the Oty run. Decided to do some speed runs but the wind dropped a smidge, so then decied an hour would be the go. 2 runs at 26-28 across that water was looking cool then hoppy passed me & I dropped into a lull then zip nada nothing. Hoppy gave the Home signal & we waddled , gulgged back and called it a day. I had used the grandi's ZopperDoppers as a cold pack for the beer as it was quite warn we started with a cold ZopperDopper, then a cold beer & pack up. Cracker day.Tongue outCoolSmile
