BIB, CC, TX. NE 20 knots gusting to 25. A bit higher at the start, but also a lot choppier and therefore slower. Started on the Falcon 99, but soon switched to the Isonic W54, which handled the chop a lot better. TR7 7.0, BP WS 38 / 31. Quite happy with today's speed, especially considering the water was not that flat - faster than any session at other spots, second fastest overall.

BIB, CC, TX. Falcon 89, RB 5.6, 28 cm pointer. Overpowered and no fun at the start. Things got better after adding downhaul and especially after shortening the harness lines - with today's chop, long lines did not work. Hope we get another NW day before we have to leave so we get some nice flat water.

Nice session guys. Enjoy the warmth. My in-laws live in Houston so I've had a few nice sessions down there at bird island. Beautiful spot especially when it's cold up north.

Good to see people getting out and putting down some speeds for the year.

I've set up a 100m speed championship on gps-speedsurfing.com

You may like to subscribe. I've set it up in divisions so everyone has a chance to be fastest in their area. Here's the link: https://www.gps-speedsurfing.com/default.aspx?mnu=event&val=478

Good numbers Peter, congrats on all your PB's that I missed earlier, didn't even know there was so much action these winter months. Looks like you've been busy windsurfing, only first week of March and you probably have more sessions than I've had in 2016. We had our first session in 2017 with Boro today..

Have you and Nina moved to CC?
