2492 days ago Distance day at Kalmus. Conditions were about as good as it gets - SSW-SW 20-25 mph all day, nice low tide in the middle. A bit choppier than expected, though, since the best forecast in a while attracted a big crowd.
Sailed mostly Skate 110, Matrix 7.0, with a couple of short changes to 3S 96, Matrix 6.0. Fog was only light today, so crossing the ferry channel was possible most of the time, but slightly more westerly direction meant much more chop when trying to extend runs into Hyannis Port Harbor. Still, a spot distance record and top 3 distance session at a spot that's not nearly as good for distance as Hatteras or Duxbury - can't complain! It was 9 hours of fun  .
