Rye, VIC, AU Nice session on 6.6 Koncept, 112 Mistral, KaSL28 to dodge the shallow bits.    Was scraping around the the shed to find a 430 mast to use and found my last one, a one piece Carbon60, worked a treat setting the bottom section really full, head a little on tight side but ok.  Matty and I did a tack or 3 upto Rosebud for a single downwind run on return.   Made it there but missed a gybe out the back and got done over by a breaking swell which then finished my mast off into a couple of pieces.   400m off shore, I packed the kit up and scored a tow part way in by one of the 150 kites out enjoying the conditions.

Northerly at Rye.  Sailed up to Rosebud pier, sailed back... sailed back up with Spotty, but he didn't make it back... broken mast.
