Lake George, SA.

Nice day on the lake today with about a dozen other sailors.

The sun poked through for a while and it was a lot more pleasant than yesterday. Laughing

The wind was gust for this place and pretty much dead South, but it was interesting how much it was swinging as I was working upwind. Major lifts and Knocks! Similar going downwind, especailly on the NM. Bearing away in the gusts and rounding up a bit in the lulls to keep the apparent wind.

Pretty happy with the NM given the conditions. Laughing

Wind estimate: 16-23, with the odd brief gust maybe 25. I was not always powered up on the 6.2m Koncept. I was hoping to get on the speed board but thought better of it. There were too many lulls, and the CA40 does not really like the 6.2m that much. So I went for a fang on the JP52(70L) at the end but it was no faster than the IS87.

Good to get a few hours and KM's up and work the muscles. I hope I come up OK tomorrow! Undecided

I think we are all well warmed up now and need another 10 knots of wind. Hopefully tomorrow. Tongue out

Great to catch up with all the old friends. I even had a couple of team mates in Red and Ado.Cool

IS87, Tribal 27cm WeedSpeed, 6.2m KA Koncept. Then changed to JP54 Slalom with Tribal 21cm Weedspeed.
