kato (37520km): Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU Living the dream Another day of Easterlies after work. A few out today, so not much work was done in the arvo I guess . Not as strong as yesterday, so I stayed on the slalom gear and just chased the Busters around keeping them honest. There're getting a bit "Lippy" ATM so I bought in some "Pit Crew" support in the form of Daffy.I think he got a 45kt peak (On the way home in the car). Fun day Sl53, MXR 24, Koncept 6.6 | ||||||||||||||||||
Sailquik (29582km): Area 45, Victoria. Nobody comes to Sandy Pt anymore! Especially on week days, so I headed to Area 45 to have some company. I think the wind was down a little bit on Sandy, but the tide was just right. I needed to do some testing on the 2019 KA Koncept 5.7m on an SDM mast, so that is what I used. I may have been better off on the 6.2m, but it didnt matter as I had great fun. Geeze those Southerly Busters can talk some great BS! LOL! The 5.7m on the SDM mast was excellent. Slightly less reactive in the gusts, but definitly deeper and faster off the wind. Need to do a bit more testing I think..... Wind was up and down 15-20 Brief gusts to 25kts. ESE, which is a very nice direction for A45. JP SL70/54cm, Tribal WS 21, 2019 KA Koncept Speed on SDM mast. GW60
