Great Session at the Beaver, should have waited another hour before hitting it as I ran out of hands and the wind was staying in with the tide dropping, Slowy Claude and Tom are still out as I type this

hardies, 53cm wave wands, 23cm lockwood, 6.0 avi.

First run went down the inside to get the 2s and NM, then played in alpha land, tried to build on the 2s but could only get 29s and 28s.

Pleased with the alphas for the amount of wind, but went wide on q few of them.was trying to go more evenly across the wind, and succeded in that at the expense of going too wide.

Nice to get my first 30 for the year!

JP Slalom VI 76, NP RSR Eiii 7.8m, JP 46cm

First hit out for the year, wanted to try set up with the 46cm fin to see how it would go in comparison to the 42cm which I used during the marathon, unfortunately the wind had backed of a peg, realistically probably would have been better of with the 8.6m.

Went out and after cleaning weed of my fin on the first run went straight into doing an hour, was doing runs out to the platform and one run out to Claudesville, all was going well but I think the mast foot should have been about 5mm further back but other than that it was fun.

Bit annoyed as I was going well til I dropped my last 3 outside gybes, fortunately I was able to get going fairly easily.

Fun little hit out, need to do more like that to work on my excessive waistline.

Safety Bay, CR 6.1m, Iso 76, Vector Delta 25 / rrd x-fire 80, vector delta 25

Fun day with Adam, Claude and Slowy. Enough wind to sail 6m. PB'd by .04 of a knotLaughing. Not quiet enough to push the limit of the sail though.

Very happy with the new version of the Delta, no spin outs even though was choppy. Finished the day with a good chat with Slowy about the whole speed thing and techniques. Cheers mate.
