Frontal westerly blast withg Stroppo, Decrep and Shane. Not enough wind for any serious speeds but heaps of fun all the same.

JP SLW 92, NP RSR Eiii 8.6m, Pepe super 50 weed & JP SLW 56cm

Distinct lack of interest this morning, got a cal from Decrep that Benderland was only 12knots, mandurakastan was only a poofteenth stronger, eventually thought farkit I'm going out.

Got down to the run to see some nice small white caps a very high tide  but a nice smooth bay. Rigging for the lulls I thoought the 76cm slalom board would be the go and that I might have to change down sail size, as soon as I hit the water I reallized this was not to be the case, It was like a religous holiday out there you'd run through a gust and then find ZERO wind on the other side, after falling in a couple of times decided the SLW was the go.

Wow what a change that made, was feeling quite ordinary hopped on the big girl and straight away a new PB for it woo hoo that was easy, spent the rest of the day trying to crack a 30 but wasn't to be n matter wahat I tried, theres definately more speed in this board, it was easy speed today just needed a bit more puff.

Fun session with Webby and Yoyo (the explorer) Also good to see Port's turn up at the end and hear his "woo hoo" as he took of

Joined Bender Stroppo and Shane at Bendersville.

Hope for today was to improve hr, alpha and distance. Unfortunately wind was too up and down for a good hour and alpha.

I could have done better with my distance if I'd changed up to the 7.3 when Stroppo suggested, isn't hindsight a splendid thing, pityu it's no bloody use for anything!

forecast for Albany went from good to poor ..... there was some wind in the end on sunday but I could not get enthused due to the direction and the associated rain. Glad to see you got out.
