Another pleasant sail today with Firey and Stretch. No outstanding numbers today from me but my alpha was a bit better. Lunny and Boz were there getting some impresive numbers and tomski was smoking and doing big kms. Slugger showed up later to cheer us on and sell ice creams, still no flakes though. He had just been to fangys to pick up the flowery blouse that Ross had kindly purchased for him yesterday.

Peel Inlet, WA, AU. Falcon113/FW7.0/TWS33.  A fun sail today with plenty of crew around. Nearly didnt bother coming up for a dodgey easterly, but glad I did. I gave the CA52 a couple of runs, but too many holes in the wind to do any better Smile

What a ripper sail, happy daz. I got down to the water hole and was surprised no Bra Boys, it's a first I was first. The Coastal Rockets were there talking tactics, hmm I had a little ears drop but didn't undersatand a thing, secret agent Bob I'm not.

My first run I went into the pond, speed was ok but nothing to get excited about, I thought ah bugger this I'll just play around and I did, so much fun. I did try for speed when I could but it wasn't happening, I went for a few nauticals and thought I had done much better than I did. At the end I did a run to Narvara with Swindy with Stretch way out in front, on the way back the wind died and we were all walking or dragging weed. Because the wind had been a bit on n off I thought that's it it's all over red rocket, I managed to get back onto the rocket and pump her onto a plane and headed straight back to car park with the wind nicely picking up, funny I wasn't trying to go fast but got my 2sec and Nm on that run. Would have liked to keep going but I was so cold my arse cheeks were slapping so pulled the pin.

Got home and the Child Bride had turned the hot water booster on for me, love at 2nd sight. Just had my Friday rum, looking forward to our Friday pizza and thinking life's fn good, wouldn't be dead for quids.

Lots of sailors today, all top people from at least 3 different teams, what a great sport and comp Cool

Carbon Art SL87, 27 Tribal, 6.6 Koncept and rubber.

Got a Jelly bean back bob and depending on what stretch got you will probably get another for the 5*10. Well done. Actually looking again if Stretch had a good day you could have 5, its that close.

Nice going guys, glad you all enjoyed my sacrifice, just couldn't get motivated this morning, went to gym instead.

Hey Firie, looks like you went right into the rockgarden!!!!!!!!!! It's a high tide, but some of those rocks are big. I wouldn't go in there in any circaumstances!

Unfortunatly there's only the two markers still there. But just look for the big green roofed hotchie on the shoreline and don't go anywahere near it! The rock garden extends a few 100m out from the shore.

Good to see you guys got some wind out there. I gave it a go first thing this morning but the wind seemed to drop as soon as I was rigged and I barely made it onto the plane. So I headed off to work to gain extra leverage for the next windy day.

Good stuff Firie, you managed to avoid playing bagatelle whilst in the Rock Garden... an achievement in itself!  Great velocity too Mobsters.

Nuffink here in SE Qld. Calm as, bro'.

Nice work fellas- particularly in that breeze - it seemed a unsailably gusty this side of the pond, or more likely, I simply didn't want to ruin my new blouses :-)

Great session guys!

Windless drought in SA continues:-(

As a side note Infigen Energy run a bunch of wind farms in NSW, SA, WA and said "the last three months of 2016-17 would be its worst for energy production since establishing its current asset portfolio in 2012"
