Fun boombas session, until the end when the wind died.

I was at the western end of the second bay, floating around, but I could see Stretch at the Eastern end planing, so groveled my way towards him for about 10mins, only to have him fly past me heading west, there was still no way I could get going!

So turned round and groveled back to base, sub planing for 47mins! That's the trouble with great long runs!

Point Grey, WA, AU. Falcon113/GPS7.3.  Wind not as strong as predicted, but still a very enjoyable day cruising Boombas with Roger, Mike, Simon and Ross.

Highlight for me was a leg-burning drag race with Rog the full length of Boombas, and a bit of a "splash" duel with Slugger

Nice cruisy day at boombas with a small bunch of mobbers. A bit up and down but good exercise. Luckily I packed up when I did as I was saved the long slog home from the far side of boombas which seemed to take everyone an age to get back once the wind died. In fact when I left Ross was still a long way out.

Boombas, WA, AU

Highlight of the day seems to be have been then effectivness of keeping all the Pinnas out, by simply swapping the Push and Pull signs on the gate to Boombas.

Swindy let the side down with possibly the worst cucumber and paste sandwiches the Lord Bunno boys have ever seen. But they hardly redeemed themselves when they broke out the Fairy Bread fingers. It was just one of those really awkward moments when what the Bunno boys meant by Fairy bread Fingers, was something the rest of us were not willing to engage with...at any level.

Sailing wise, twas quite pleasant and I did a bit experimenting with different combos of fin and foot strap. Good to be out will the lads, but the long slog home was bloody exhausting.

Still, I was on the water,  and in the moment for the most part, so Top Ten Fangy Day Laughing

  Nice going all,...

I did have a look out from cobblers. The plan woud have been to sail out across to boombas and back,....

but the wind didnt seem to be strong enough to take the risk. At one stage it seemd ok, but then it dropped out and didnt

come back with enough forse.  Well, thats my excuse....  Tongue out    Laughing

Smashed you Decrepit! I broke the hour barrier and managed a 1:03 sub planning run. Laughing ( Fingers still frozen in place!)

And looking at the numbers I reckon Stretchy deserves a little pat on the back - Sludge probably just drove home with the GPS  on again.Cool
