Eddy (23915km):  1 categories  Port Douglas, QLD, AU Another quick sail after ascaping the sault mine hit the water about 3.30 only rigged6.6m sail as everyone up here said the wind was ment to come in hard,was having a easy sail in about the same wind as yesterday.had to pump it on to the plain a few times and was a bit under powered at times,sailed out wide as that was where wind was best,wind had just started cranking and i was keen to do a few good runs just got powered up,heard something go crack and was in the drink new some thing had broke but was not sure what, did a water start every thing seemed ok tried to hook in to harness but hook was snapped of harness,had to limp home about 2km..the fun factor was gone for the day..and it was game over for me..No sailing for me this weekend..Ed. | ||||||||||||||||||
