Green Island, QLD, AU Isonic 87,Overdrive 6.0, 25 delta

Actually had fun on slalom gear today, 6.0 worked really well first time out and apart and from a few random spin outs the 25 delta felt relly good.

Thought I might have had a better alpha in there but at least, I beat Kel on the 2 sec though ?? mmmm I had a 38.52 on the dail Kel had a 38.98 I think, But Ill take it ha !!

Could have notched up a few more K's if we new we needed more than 110klm but will have to leave that for the boys tomorrow.

Green Island, 2012 Isonic 90, Venom 34 and 30, and 2012 Overdrive 6.0.

Really nice day at the island today, Nice 20 to 25 from the south when we arrived, so I rigged my new 6.0 for the first time and headed out on the Isonic 90 as the tide was still a little high for the eastern run to flattern out. On the fourth run I hooked in to a ripper gust and ended up with 38.9 on the dial!Tongue out Very happy with the speed on the slalom gear but i wanted a 40 so i grabbed the speed board headed out again. Felt like i was getting some good runs but could not go any quicker,, Undecided

After and hour of trying i gave up and swapped back to the Isonic and managed to get a 38.98 on the dial!

Swapped the fin to a 30 Venom after lunch as on the last run in I smacked the reef and mangled the 34Yell

Great Fun Day sailing and drag racing with Toody and Billy!Cool

Well done boys.   Fast and very close numbers Toody and Kel and congrats on the PBs too.  Rocketed us up into 4th spot - woohoo.

Wish I was up north in the sunshine and warmth - windless and freezing here today (only 14deg).

Congrats on reaching the 1000k mark Billy.

Gaz, i reckon the 12 iSonics turn so well because all their volume is at the back.  Hope the back comes good.

Great work guys and well done on the PBs. Kel and Toody interesting your speeds on the 87 and 90 were very similar. I always thought the top end on the 90 had potential.
