Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

At least we are posting with out controversy today. All the above figures are mine. The sail you have when you dont actually feel like you had a sail. What a challenge - changing, shifting, blow sometimes - idle the next. Just couldnt dial myself in at all today and ended up with a bit of a walk home as I just couldnt get far enough up wind to get home.

Good to catch up briefly with young Serge b4 he headed out and then, not 15 mins later, Jason turned up to have a crack. Good to see you lads. Hope you enjoyed your session. I ended up taking my lads to Trinity for a swim at around 430 at the wind had just died of - so flat. After yesterdays blow, the water was remarkably clear out the back. A day worth putting up to experience only.

104 Screamer, 6.2 SW Revo.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU....The lake here has transformed from Valhalla tothe Pits.    Not to worry, I am sure it will bounce back.   The big movers were using 8m +.    6.6m not enough.       Better things to come.

Got a great story from Port Douglas..My good friend Simmie rang me today,She was asking who sailed in Port on saterday.I said i think Ian and james the two hot shots from the Tablelands may be sailing.Well as it turns out they both came down and had a great sail,Ian was stocked as he was had sailed three weekends in a row in port and all have been great sessions..The story is that some 'maniac' on a windsurfer with a green sail 'James' went blasting through a group of outrigger cannoes filled with girls learning how to paddle, friehtened the crap out of them and they tipped the cannoe over and had to be picked up by the rescue boat apperantly they where most upset that he just kept blasting of and didn't stop to help...He could of been there hero and got some phone numbers at the same time. When Simine told me this i nearly fell of my chair laughing...Good one James...

Hey Herby,it is a true story mate. Simmie is a member of the outriggers club in port,And they all  know she is a keen windsurfer. That is why they were asking her if she new who the sailor was..

Ed, I don't doubt the veracity of your story.     I raised the eyebrow as I think it not proper behaviour.    Kids and girls going into sea like that could be dangerous.    James is a friend of mine too and I would like to think that the decision to play such a prank was a spur of the moment thing.

Not that I'm perfect Sealed.

All FNQmob sailors, not sure where this story came from, I was sailing at Pt D on Sat and did see the outriggers, but I doubt I was closer than 50m to the nearest boat and travelling in nearly the oppiste direction. There was a 1-1.5m swell, so I doubt the wake from a sailboard at 50m could have upset them -- unless they were very very finely balanced.
