Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU   Went to dam about 11.30am but nothing doing, so went home and done some more housework and went back down

about 2pm to find James just about to launch.    He was getting a few runs so I rigged the 6.6m Loft 02 and went out on the JP 78 Slalom.   The gusts 

were more frequent than yesty and when I came in about 4pm I was surprised to see that NBR from Townsville was there rigging.   real beaut sunny

arvo with only the occasional speed boat....Enjoying a Coopers Green and have to say    LG....Lifes Good.   /

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

All this deserves is a big fat bbbllllaaaaahhhhh. Took the chance and rig Fast Freddy's 8.2 Diablo on the 104 Screamer and as you can see by the results, it didnt pay off. The only good thing to come out of the afternoon was the banter on the beach with Freddy and Firiebob. Great to catch up Gents.

Hard work grinding out 78km in very patchy wind.  Would have been perfect with the 7.8 but don't have it at the moment.  Never powered up but like yesterday great to get a decent sail in.  Surprised with the hour as I felt I was plodding for half of it.

Fun day at the island chasing a virtual cup, Had fun at the top of the island on the high tide going for the hr at first, until the tide dropped enough for the snot weed to poke out then every run had a near death experience or spin out with masses of weed hanging off the fin.

Had my first run on my new 2013 isonic 49 when the water flattened out and loved every run! Cant wait to use it on a windy day!

Used Isonic 90, C3 Sting 43, Isonic speed special 49, C3 SS 21 and Overdrive 6.0

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Hit the beach at about 1 hr after big lunch, the tide was way out the wind was gusty wasn't sure what to rig.so if in doubt rig big,usualy works for me, so it was out with 7.3m North sail 101 falcon and the biggest fin i could find.. My good friend simmie was keen to play and so was my old mate' Big Dog' who was sailing an old Exocet that i owned many moons ago.Was a good board till i snaped the nose of it,did a rebuild job on it, then sold it to him for a bottle of burbon ,still a great board to sail...Had a very enjoyable session play racing my companions in the bay .A nice 15 to 16 kts breeze settled in nicely when we hit the water.. No good numbers on the GPS but a fun arvo on the water, and at the end of the day Having a bit of fun is what it is all about...Hey Billy you will have to come to port for a session..It is usually better than that crap you sail in at Hollowaays...Had a nice day at Tinaroo yesterday the good wife had a paddle board session on my old AHD and i had a good old chit chat with the boys..The sailing was a bit ordanary though...Cheers ED..
