First session on the new 90, forecast had 18 to 20 so i thought it would be enough to give it a run.

But the wind was only 10 to 13 for most of the day, with a 5 min squall just on pack-up time. So lots of grovelling around and waiting/cursing followed by two quick runs.

Used 2018 Isonic 90, Overdrive R8 7.0 and C3 Sting 34 Cool

Green Island with Captn Kel Morgan & Benny MC.

Forecast looked promising but it wasnt until ~5pm that the wind really arrived long after the others had left...

Used the Iso 107 2017 North warp 2017 7.7 & CL Sl 2 40 .Was a handful in the gusts which were recorded at 32 knots ...Got lifted off the water a couple of times & slam dunked ...!!Surprised

Good fun but didnt last long -maybe tomorrow .

1st proper sail in ~ 4months so good to be back .I see the WA boys have got some cracking numbers already this year ...!!!WinkSurprised

Futura 122 Convert 6.7 Drake 40

My tracks had some added travel time at the end for some reason (was sure I had stopped the watch as soon as I hit the beach) - removed them using the below link-

Thought the 25kn was a bit ambitious, must have been caught in the moment of the squall with the rain dancing off the water...  So it was probably about 3 minutes of pure bliss, if that...

First day of holidays Laughing  Sailed with the Guns today (Kel & Cam)...  well sort of

Abundant marine life present.  First time I've seen rays jumping close up!  Predominately light winds for the session (which was really crap).  A first for me sailing off GI...  Was quite hard to fathom actually.

The 230 ferry was definately on the cards...  A squall came through at the eleventh hour- it was 5 minutes of sheer bliss!  Watch read well for 2s 25, maybe a glitch, reluctant to formally post (weird straight line added at the end of session going nowhere, will have to fix).

Nice tracks Cam!- giving the hi5 with the wind direction change up.
