Port Douglas, QLD, AU Late arvo sail with Andrew..Wasn't that windy rigged 7.8m Grastra on' light wind screamer '117 ISO, 44cm fin..Wind was very southerly but i had a feeling it was gunna kick in..Did a couple of runs and it didn't take long for the breeze to stiffen up out wide' where the big sharks swim' 'pulled up and put big Gastra rig into full crank down mode, it made it a bit soft in close but managed to have a good blast out wide in 20tks and a choppy sea was happy with the way i sailed didn't have any wipe outs and didn't hit any unidenterfied sea creatures..

But still dropped two gybes out in the ruff stuff which anoyed me a bit..Was sailing a bit flat footed and being lazy...started getting dark  early so session was cut a bit short, would of been nice to get anouther 20kms in..but i guess it was still worth rigging up for..Noticed a small rip in sail on the 3rd panel from the bottom when derigging, after seeing that i was kind of glad i pulled up as wind had freshened up some more and i would of had a major panel blow out..This sail is getting past it's used by date but i really like it  and would like to get a few more kms out of it  before it ends up in the wheelie bin...All good fun cheers ED.

Green Island, QLD, AU

Had a crack @ GI on the 103L Code with 5.3 Gator wind was solid 30 knots gusting to 35 Cool

Went to the jetty side to hit the waves, tide was way too low though but I got a few airs here and there along with getting washed over the reef Yell
