Jimbob (26496km): Lake George from the 5 mile drift. F2 stoke and usual 6.6 KA and 36 weedy. the wind was weird today was S but going to SE or SW and up and own, just couldn't get into it at all. probably just out too early for the seabreeze to crank in properly. Had Danny and his grandson for company again, was going to go downwind to the spit and do a few runs but the wind was crazy so didn't know if I had wind to get back so hung at the top end of the lake. called it quits to save for the 30 knot SE forcast for tommorrow.

hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU S/E 12-17knots with a few 20s at the end
AB+67, KA Concept 6.6, 30 L/E weedy.
Discovered that with the right sail and fin the AB works a treat and so enjoyed the light wind session with the guys late this afternoon. Tricky ran into something on the spit that bent both bolts on his fin but he was able to keep sailing after hitting the fin back into position. Must have been a large fish or small shark or perhaps a stingray cause i've never seen anyting floating in the water here before. Pete was out again and enjoying himself and a couple of beers were had at the end of a good session.

Tricky Bogan (21417km): Bunta Sail CA101 Koncept 6.6 36 Weedie steady 13 knots building to 18 was a great sail, Did hit something on one run that bet both my fin screws & I had to kick my fin back in place! Did leave a mark on the board were the fin folded back & touched the board. Glad I use rubbers ! When the wind picked up I came in & changed board to Petes Thomon 60 something was just not comfortable seemed fast but could not lock it down. A bit skittish maybe the 6.6 was not the right setup. All my best times were on the CA! Sure beats working Jeff has finaly dialed in the AB , A Great sail with Jeff & Pete finished with a couple of frosties. | ||||||||||||||||||
