Another road trip, and I accepted the risk that I may miss the best of it. Total road km's now in my Lake George campaign is 3200km.
Blowing a gale on the drive down and dodging the fallen branches and debris. Arrived by 8.30 to see quite a few already on the water. First few runs were ok, then it started to moderate. I should have just gone out on the 7m from the start.
Great to put faces to names from the various interstate teams, and to catch up with some old mates from Sandy Point again.
Congrats to all who sailed today and achieved PBs. I think distance was the main aim for many, and they can rack up those km's easily.
