You little beauty, my new Mistral Speed 55 is a weapon.....a fully certified one! After yesterday's debacle where I was blown off the water todays 30 knots was a doddle. The 6.3 was nicely powered and let Slowboats little masterpiece power up and skim over the chop. Best speeds in the middle of the river with lots of swell and cross waves, with the 55 I never felt out of control and the thing does lovely flat jumps at ease.

Great to hear 35 on speedchat, I was determined to knock over that goal with my new weapon in the chop, mission accomplished. Can't wait to get it on a speed course and see if it has a top end. One very happy Roo, think I can drop the coward tag....my balls reappeared today and grew in size!

Bonaire Lac Bay. Sailworks Retro 6.5, JP MR 118, Ride 40 fin: Wind 14 kts

Wind was light, did one long 'sucker run' into the mangroves and then got to slog all the way back. Was about to quit when the late afternoon 'wind bump' finally arrived. Was a short session but felt good.
