I really didn't think the wind would be as good as it was. What a nice surprise for the first day of my holidays!!

Finally decided to hit the water after alot of contemplating,discussion,and a dash home to change gear to have a reasonable sail,was very gusty and patchy but it has been 3 weeks since sailing so anything is better than nothing

As you can see...fin testing day...best speeds were on the Deb...but in fairness there was bugger all wind to test the CL at the end.

Light breeze, but nice to get out for the first session in April...and to get the Southsiders on the board...a number of the team out...good apres sail company.

And BIG congrats to Chris and his wife on the birth of the twins!

7.5M T4 & 120Lt Firestorm

Safety Bay today to make certain we got a sail. I stayed in the car & read the paper while a few were out grovelling.

Finallly Col convinced me I needed to sail because there was going to be no wind for at least a week, so I rigged

Thanks Col, had a great time. Stopped in later to check on the rest of the team, gee its been a while since we sailed

AHD 85 wide with 8.5M Lightning & 50cm Select Weedy

Had a couple of goes on the RRD with the 8.5M & 7.5M but under finned with the 32 LE Weedy.

Tried a 34cm FO Weedy in the AHD but it was too small so ended up with a pointer & dragging weed

Not a bad day in all at Safety Bay, lots of Pinnas + Col out as well

Futura 111, OD 8.5, 36 Vector Weedie - A sail!! Not the windiest of days, but nice to get out and catch up with the crew!
