Inverloch, VIC, AU

Nice day in the main channel. Launched at Angling club, very low tide, - not a lot of fun getting between pier and Pensioner's (ran aground several times). Postman Pete launched at pensioners and we blasted around for over an hour.

SSE wind which was perfect for the long (better-than-Sandy-Point) run along the main channel sand island - water was so smooth that you could have barefooted on it. A few more knots would have been nice (Pound creek stated 11-15 knots for the session), but no complaints from me!!

Once again got to the water late and everyone else was packing up.

Mostly it was a floating session working on my jibes.

Thats a great part of the inlet to sail, probably had some of my most memorable Inverloch sails over the years along that bank, well done with the PB's

Thanks Jerry - it was one of those days where the bank was so high that in spots the water was literally glass - no ripple. Also the first day my new board (iSonic 117 carbon) had been on the inlet - she's very happy with her first outing!! 😃
