DanP (6466km):  4 categories Inverloch, VIC Au Really nice Xmas eve sail. Got down there late arvo after working getting stuff ready for my little hire business (need to take some cashola off these cashed up tourists around here!!!! Daz, Wendy & Col plus most others were packing up as i hit the water, ended up having a great sail with Jak (Bono's) and his bro in law (whos a kiter but i'll let him off this week - its christmas!!). From the sounds of what Juergen said i definitely missed the best of it, but i had a ball anyway. As far as i'm concerned, Santa delivered early. Drift (6257km):  2 categories LOCATION: Eagle Point. WIND: NE-Turning W-SW on a storm front GEAR: Kona One down to CA FR 77, KA Koyote 8.2 DETAILS: Nice xmas eve session at Eagle Point. No one else was out Winds were quite fluky initially but then built as the stormfront approached. Nice long runs with a bit of wind swell. The storm took about an hour to hit and when it did it was nuts!...big WSW ahead of thunder and lightning meant it was time to come in!!! Great place to sail, grass rigging area and heaps of water to play in...just like I remembered it 15 years ago | ||||||||||||||||||
