Narrabeen Lake, NSW, AU

Very pleasant surprise and a fun light wind sail in what should probably be the last of the sea breezes until Spring. Just cruising but superb arvo on the water with a few of the boys along with sea eagles and lots of fish.  Very light wind and nice conditions. Gotta love this weather!!!!

Quite surprising what an extra .8 of a meter sail does. Got me planing heaps quicker and kept me there compared to my usual 7.8.

Falcon 125, Evo III 8.6, Sting II 44cm.

What a stunning Autumn day in Sydney. A beautiful day on the water wearing only boardies...no rashie!!!

Good to see a few guys out making the most of probably the last seabreeze of the season. Lots of fun chasing Mike T around the bay.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Laughing

Gorgeous day, to nice to mow the lawn!

So I started sailing at Kurnell and ended up at Ramsgate, twice!

Met Ken on the beach and a few hard-core nutters out but mainly the water was full of tea leaves.

Such a great sail, perfect weather, 12-22kt winds NE. matched my iSonic 121, 44cm fin and Loft 8.6 perfectly. A little hard to hang-on to at times, so I wasn't always fully sheeted, but felt good, especially after I lowered my boom the third time. Much more comfortable and less spin-out!

I also tried a 48 fin breifly earlier, but it proved too big as the wind picked up. Next thing I need is an adjustable outhaul!

Then the battery on the GPS died and I missed the last half hour. Oh well. Charging it now !

What an awesome afternoon! So good to get away form the keyboard and get out and make some vitamin D. Great sail with Dave, Rexy, Pete & Artur. It was a dodgy start when I had to break a zip to get the board out of the board bag then splitting a panel when I started to carry the sail to the water. There was no way I was going to Kurnell with those omens...

Kyeemagh, Au 5-15 kt N/E

On the Maui 7.0 but needed a 7.8+ for the lulls & transitions across gusts.

Magic day, sunny, warm water & lots of guys out - Rexie, Mike, Dave, Artur & more.

I think it's gonna be wetsuits from now.

Came home in dark Yell to roast lamb baked dinner & a bottle of '91 Penfolds Bin 389 Tongue out Tongue out Kiss

Probably didn't see many people as I was down kurnell, and quite far from the beach most of the time. Tried making it up to Kyeemah, but the wind angle wasn't quite right...

Mike, did you break your sail on the stupid fence polls? The ones on the walk way with razer blade mounted to the tops?

Surprised

No, I just rested the sail on my head and took two steps towards the beach and the panel split with a bang. Do sails go brittle with age? I haven't used this sail since last october.

Mike, the same thing happened to me just recently. My 7.8 blew a panel just as I was hopping on. Just went bang, definitely was brittle and a more cracks appeared next session. Most used sail and has now had both panels replaced.
