I'm so unfit, had to stop after every 2 runs for a 5 minute breather!!!

No good!

If the aches I have right now get any worse I dont think I will be out in the morning! One bad crash that meant I had to restart the hour, if I had bore off with the gust that hit me I would have a pb peak! 2hour average was 20.91 :-D

Very interesting session. Went for an hour and got a PB by 1.5 knots...must use a watch next time as have a bad habit of finishing short.  55 mins with 56  good gybes and then stopped short and had to include the sail into the carpark...still did a lot of gybe work and improved a lot as had technique problems.  #changed to underarm grab of new side...amazing to discover such a basic error after 30 years of windsurfing!  No wonder I have been loosing so many places in slalom round the bends the last few couple of years! Carrying another couple of knots through the gybes is worth several hundred yards in slalom...so watch out leading pack in 2013.  Also good for getting the feel of the new sails and board.  Had the mast track prob 2cm further back on the new board that felt good.   No top speeds today but consistency is king in slalom and did 25 alphas beetween 21&22knots without dropping below 10knots.   Still work to do but feeling good about the improvements!

Langstone harbour in the dark, chop is not so bad when you can't see it, hour was going well till the wind died.

Cheers guys. I think if I had stayed closer in the hour would have gone over 23, but getting back upwind after the gybe was tricky without losing speed. Need to experiment. It was weird, if I went over the channel I didn't plane out of the gybe but if I fined in front of ferrybridge I would plane out. Scotty, that distance you did today was amazing! Well done on that and your other pbs.
