Sandy Point, Vic, AU, weekend trip with the wife and family staying overnight at Shallow Inlet caravan park (Yanikee). Didn't expect any wind at all, forecast was rather dull, hence I took only the barge and the Rocket and big sails. Drove in the inlet close to low tide and there was a stiff easterly happening with white caps and all. Beauty, kept the girls busy for the next 2 hours drinking champagne watching bro in law (on a kite) and myself joining Daffy and others on the easterly run. Perfectly powered with the 6.6 Koncept, wished I had the Futura there though, that would have been closer to 35kts I reckon. Had some reasonable gybes too, including a first planing Alpha with over 20 kts, very happy with that!!.
