Now that was better, Could have done with an extra 1/2 a metre but I cant complain. Wink Comforatbly powered for most of the session. Seriously, 7.5m was about right Jerry. Got a bit lumpy but not too much of an issue as the isonic seems to have no issues dealing with it. Top session with 2/3 of the bonno blasters - Jerry, Alex, Juergen and even Bondy made a guest appearance.

Great sail today with Evan, Jak and Alex, decided to give the slalom setup a run for a change, took me a while to get dialed in after several days on wave and fsw gear but started to enjoy eventualy.

Lots of different gear on the water today with guys on 4.7s and wave gear to 7.5 on Slalom gear.

Elwood, VIC, AU, nice arvo sail with some of the other half of the Bonno crew,Jman, Evan and Alex. Started with Bondy's Supersport 136 (my barge is in ICU with a nose job, thanks Bondy), but got too choppy and swapped to the Rocket and Jerry's Select 37cm SL7 fin (proven the point I need definitely a larger fin for the Rocket). Later in  the session my waist harness gave up (broken webbing), swapped to seat harness and first time felt comfortable in that combo on the Rocket. Great afternoon and good to be back at the bay after xmas in Invy. Flat water sailing in confined environments is ok but it's different to sailing in open spaces.

PS Evan was flying past me sometimes on his Isonic, thought I'm sailing backwards.

Had a great sail with the local Bonno crew where we were sailing between the 1 mile marker off Chelsea Yacht Club to the no PWC marker bouy out front of my place. I have to say Adam is super quick now and can gybe fast in chop.

Hey Alex is that the Russian way of saying I need to look outside the square or thinking outside the box though I think you are being smart in your pants againTongue out

Evan sure you are joking when you say another 1/2 m of sail would of been nice! Surprised

Nice mile Urs, was that on the rocket or Isonic?

Jak its not often I use that fin so you can use it whenever you like I think you should get 1 in G10 as they seem slightly tougher at the tip.

Should be on again today!!

I was looking at coming up to Elwood today, but with the new forecast of 20knots I might stay at home. The last number of days has not failed with the wind staying in till dark with good strength. Maybe Alex may show some guts and sail at Bonno in chop.

Urs, congrats, another PB. Will take your offer thanks Jman, assume the G10 fins are all in that light green colour or do they come painted?

Are you wearing no GPS anymore Steve? Maybe lend it to Adam that we can see his numbers ;-)

Would love to join you again but out for a BBQ today late arvo. Forecast looks similar for the rest of the week, I should be ok tomorow and as hangover cure NY's day. Also back at work on Wednesday and good for after work sails.
