Pretty frustrating day as the forecast wind failed to materialize, again. Finally, it arrived late in the day and I was super overpowered on the 7.8. Hung in there as not enough time to re-rig. Happy with the speed in the chop which I think is a PB on the big gear. Didn't gybe too well. Great to sail with Byron, Walshy, Lyds, Tony and Gert.

sailing in the rain it was pissing down some times.

desperate to sail been ages still not great but we finaly got a bit of wind when both Steves left thanks guys.

very happy with the speed on big gear in open lake just need some wind so I can use my 7m and 6.3m maybe one day we are having a shit season of no wind.

nice drag racing walshy pushing each other and my other friends sailing in terrible conditions desperate as I am, to just sail. Friends for life

 79ltre falcon - 6.6m KA Koncept and 18cm delta

 One of those days when you wonder why you do the sport..

Got there at 8.30..didn't go out till 11.30.. should have rigged the 7.8m + 115 but rigged conservatively because of the forecast with 7mOD - 90l RS2 and 20 BP 50. Only lasted 2 runs as the fin was too deep so changed to the delta..planing but only just..pissed down with rain and sailed then sat out in it..

 Just couldn't get my act together today. I was feeling sick so that didn't help.Think I only did one decent gybe ( alpha). Boy it doesn't take long to lose your fitness..

 Got the 2 sec on the larger kit - came in and I was overpowered..should have stayed out as it settled down but rigged the smaller gear.

Got right over the other side and the mastfoot looked like it was going to fall apart.. Pissing down and no wind so walked the kit across ( + about 5kgs of weed dragging from the  boom  )  to Pete , Norm and Wayne who were standing in the millpond..Turned out it had just come loose and needed to be wound tight... I've never had that before..

Stayed out a bit more but getting late by then.

Early just Norm and I then Milsy , Mick , Frothie , Wayne & Pete for a short session as it came in before the rain shut it down.

 Wore my rashie under the wettie today so at least it was warm.. ( 14 degrees)
