Finally, after clocking many K's traveling to and from this year's various (awesome) events (many traveled much further than me!) we finally get some perfect conditions for slalom racing. I think we did eight races? I'm new to racing and I think I learned more today than in any other single day of sailing ever. And, the adrenalin rush that comes with competing is the best. (whether you are doing well or not) It's great having so many short races because if you stuff one up you get a chance at another pretty much straight away. Thank you to all the volunteers who donated their precious weekend time to bob around in a boat while we wait for wind! Thanks to Byron and the organizers for their work over the whole series and to Byron for the great trophies.

Great day at marmong for the NSW Slalom championships.   Had a couple of good starts but messed up the gybes.  Still good fun racing with the other tail-enders.

Thanks to Muz and Byron for all the work they did behind the scenes to make the weekend happen and to the guys on the boats.
