Stingray Whisperer and 6.5m

Greg, Sue, Lyds and me.

Light to start off but then filled in nicely. I had been going quite well for the first 20 minutes so pushed on for a full hour without stopping.

Patchy 5-12kts SSW then 10-15kts SSW-SSE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 7.5m Gt turbo- RS4 ( 111ltre) - 39cm C3sting pointer

Pretty patchy at first but flat and cruisy once I got enough to pump onto the plane.

Nice sailing at 13-18kts speed and practising my stance etc..It was SSW to the west and turned more S-SSE further east. Starting to get some good wind over near Marks Point but the wind had swung more to the east and the tide / wind was making 1-2ft sharp moguls which were very unpleasant. On port tack you had to head straight into them..Frown

I headed back across to in front of Coal. The wind wasn't as good but at least you could get nice flatter runs between the chop. Nice to use a pointer.

Only me . Andrew & Greg came out as I was finishing. I saw Lyd's flying along. The foilers headed staright up to the sand islands and Wangi area and looked like they were having a ball.

Sue I don’t have to lift anything, I was holding back today so Greg could beat me, turns out he is still too slow. Also I can’t sail flat out for an hour, too much commitment 😂😂😂😂
