Primbee, NSW, AU   The wind finally came in at about 2.00, and it was pretty strong, tide a bit low. Only starters Matt and I.

A lot of runs across to the Island in the wind, rain and chop, some super gusts in front of the squalls.

Primbee, NSW, AU. Isonic 86L SW 6.2NX, Guns 23/50 (about 21.5 last time I measured it). Patrik Freestyle wave 93L, SW 5.8 Revo JP 31wf.

Tricky gusty conditions, the slalom board, race sail and small fin were probably not the ideal combo for the chop. Good sailing with Terry, he made it look easy out there, too much concentration on my part but probably better to be overpowered than floating around waiting for a gust. Water was quite warm.

Wollumboula Lake, NSW, AU

A bit disappointing really. The banks of weed in close are still there but way too shallow and too thick to sail through at speed. I sailed out looking for flat water on the speed run that worked so well back in April and it wasn't there. It looks like the long weed has died or washed away, maybe when the lake drained back in August. Still a good days sail, Keef and Gav coming out later, but it was all a bit too choppy to bear away and push it with the small weed fin. Tried but found out a few times what happens.

6.4 Evo7, 56cm wide Chester, 20cm 40 and 50 deg weed fin

Nice session guys, glad you got a sail.  Wind finally came through here right on dark, so missed out this time.

Hope a few of you guys can make it up to Sydney on Sunday for the rescheduled first round of the GPS series.  Looks like a nice nor-easter on the way.  I have set up handicaps for everyone in NSW GPSTC teams so all you guys need to do is turn up and go sailing.  Only about an hours drive from Primbee.

Here's all the details:

thats a great speed for the conditions mark, we just need some water over the thick weed , its amazing how much water there is in the lake considering there hasn't been any rain since the lake emptied
