Great to be out on the water at primbee again, a lot of locals and some distant travellers today.
Fairly happy but still not at one with my speed gear at the moment, maybe highlighted by the rough water, maybe not enough sailing lately. Hopefully the next few days will help.

2135 days ago Fun session @ Primbee with the usual suspects and a few visitors. When the front arrived it was very gusty NW. Lots of standing around but enough gusts to keep us out there. It finally filled in and I had to drop down to the 6.3 after 3pm. Sailed till 10 minutes after sundown. Water became very choppy once it hit a solid 30kts. The bearaways were like driving on corrugations, once you hit the right speed it all smoothed out again. A short late afternoon sail. My heart wasn't really in it today! Decided I needed time on the 107 (for GI) so was running a big weedy - not really much fun hitting the bottom so no bearaways. Good to try out the 4.5m sail - nice in the 40 knot gusts!
