Is the lake trying to tell me something? After spending a few hours clearing logs and other hazards from the speed strip yesterday, I head out for a leisurely big gear session in a light westerly. Three runs in and I catapult straight over a submerged crab pot at 25kts. Fin is cactus but gear otherwise OK, I ended up with a caulked thigh and a big scrape down the shin for good measure. I suppose the only good news is I was doing 25 and not 40. I dragged the pot out and then changed from the iSonic 107 to the Carbon Art W58. It was very gusty but still salvaged the session with a few slick runs before it disappeared altogether. Terry ended up pulling another crab pot from the deep as we were coming in. Looks like were going to have to come back in an ultra-low tide and really give the strip a deep cleanse!! Gun GSR 7.8, iSonic 107 with Delta XT24 (may be salvagable) then Carbon Art W58 plus Tectonic Speed Demon 23.

Primbee, NSW, AU Saw collision with crab trap - spectacular Jetlag! Strange day -  118L, 22 Kestrel + 9M NCX, then 97L, 20 delta +7M RX8. For me the issue was lack of water. Kept hitting bottom!! Pleasant socialing in the nice warm sun though with usual suspects

At least that jumbo tree stump seems to have gone Jet, you did well to push that out as well as pulling in those trees yesterday.

Big Z that 9m brought the wind in once again Cool
