Pinnaroo Point

Fantic Shark 160L, 52cm fin, 8.5m then 6.8m sails. 8.5 worked for a while then had to downsize to 6.8.

Not sure what happened, but the GPS failed to record the first few hundered meters.

Nice to see heaps of sails on the water.

6.5 Ezzy, Sonic 95 Mettams to Sorrento coast run. Great to be back on the water after so long. Was a bit worried about the sonic and the break at Mettams but it rode over it no problems. Well done obelix ! Early start to the summer for all.

Got on the water about 11.20 thinking it was going to kick in. Went for an hour but really should have rigged the 7.5 and ended up down by Cottesloe beach. Pinched back upwind and stopped for some refreshment.

Macka Packa arrived and had a chat before going back out. Had a few good runs with him going a fair way out.

Tried some Naughty miles but wind was not consistent enough. Low speeds of around 22 and peaks of 28.

Happy with 28 in open ocean and the set up never felt out of control.

Wind dropped out about 3.20 and decided to call it quits.

Well done Obelix on the Pbs.Cool

Gusty gusty Melville. I should have headed for the coast. That place really isn't worth it in anything less than 20.

Nice work guys!

The lure of Lano was too strong... Head to logo high waves, powered on a 5.2, got some good jumps and somehow managed to luck myself onto a 3/4 mast high bomb SurprisedLaughing  Good training for the loo Cool

Thanks for your support guys.

Good to see you back on the water Jake.

A parking meter. At Pelican Point ?

That;s new...A courtesy of UWA students parking there all the time... Pinnaroo Point is better anyway Laughing

Nebbian, did you break anything?

No breakages Obelix, haven't had one for a good long time *touch wood*.

Probably the first time at Lano that I haven't been rinsed.  Not for lack of trying either!  Man it was good out there today.

Congrats on the PB's as well Laughing

Cry

In order not to disappoint a very excited daughter I had to sacrifice that lovely seabreeze for an afternoon at the show. Frown

Going alongside the river in the train I could see those lovely whitecaps and just wanted to climb out.

I hope it is windy tomorrow!

Good to see a good team turnout today, and congrats on the PB's Obelix. I'd better get my act together. You'll be besting me very soon!

Yeah, nice work today team. I reckon wednesday is the day to get a few more points. Yep I'd say the the students caused it too obelix. hopefully it ends at 5pm which wouldn't affect most of the sailors

It has been really hard to get a parking spot at Peli lately.

Only about 5 more weeks in the uni semester though.

It would be too much to hope for the parking meter to not apply during the summer holiday...

Any idea of the cost Snake?

Not sure of the cost yet, it was covered. The real cost (for the council) will be replacing it after they realise the coin slot is filled with super glue Tongue out

Congrats on 4 PB's Damien, and with a 2 sec speed of 27+ you'll be bettering those soon. Well done!

No wind today. I am really sad about missing out yesterday.
