This is really a new kind of speedsurfing to me: to get into the so called speedstrip you first have to conquer a couple of big waves and zigzag between a bunch of 100 kilos turtles, then you can fall off on the flat between the waves. Great fun! I really admire Tom Hammerton and the other speedies for doing som real speed at this place. Respect! Next time I come to Maui I´ll bring my helmet. And my own sails and board. Aloha!
