| Peter (48462km): 3 categories    Kalmus and Egg Island, Cape Cod. Forecast was 20 mph, we rigged to 22-23, the got averages up to 26-27. Freestyle in front at first, finally some progress on 360s, both upwind and downwind. Then over to Egg Island with Nina. Great conditions near high tide, but I did not trust the wind enough to go back and switch to slalom gear. 29 knots is the fastest I have ever gone on freestyle gear (Skate 110, Idol 5.6 that now had a ripped panel, MUF Weed 22). So much fun to go into jibes at full speed in perfectly flat water! | ||||||||||||||||||
