Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

I was finally allowed out for a play date with B2 Laughing. Sensational arfternoon at the mud pit with a noice 13/15 kt breeze blowin, so up went the big hanky and out we went. What a cracking spring day. We must have had some really high tides whilst I was away, because the drop onto the beach almost required a ladder Surprised. Heaps of sand missing. Anyways, back to matters at hand - sailing. The first hr was just a delight, then it started building and by the time I decided to not take any more risks in damaging equipment, i reckon it had built to a very noice 18kt's.

Gaz hit the water as we were exiting and it was a pleasure to see him in action and enjoying himself. Super stoked with that session. That 28 was as maxed out as I could get Big Woody. Super happy in the lighter conditions with that speed.

Used: Motion, Big Woody Futura 124, 46 Tribal Mk1, 9.4 ODM2 - loved it. B2 should post some nice numbers as well.

Holloways, IS117, Koncept 6.6, big fin, 5-15 knots.

Borrowed Freddys BIG board and had a surpisingly nice sail.

Would take a few sessions to work out how to get the best out of it.

Wind was very up and down with some big holes but kept planing most of the time.

* Small sail/big board works well for our conditions.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Fun little outing with B1 off the mudpit!  Great to have some company for a change!! Cool

Light to begin with...  B1 followed me, then I followed B1 then B1 followed me, etc. etc.  Wind strengthened throughout the sesh with some patches of up to about 18kn towards the end.  Water clarity out wide was just superb- such a beautiful sunny afternoon in tropical paradise!

Gaz rocked up for the late shift as we were derigging and looked good on Freddy's fat Isonic heading straight upwind!

Big Woody Futura has now been returned to home, but not before being cleverly navigated to nab me on the 2 sec by it's rider today! Laughing  Some close numbers between us with the exception of the NM... Wink

Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M2, 48 Venom

Mackay, QLD, AU

Wasn't planning on getting a sail with 12 knts on arrival, but with thought I would keep gordon company with his SLW. Started as a slog, but got a couple of more knots and turned out a nice sail. 12-16kNts, Barn Door, 8.5 Ezzy Lion, 46 Tribal. Lots of stingrays around, thats the problem when water is clear.
