1513 days ago I got an earlymark (thanks me) so raced off to Kurnell for a blast...
First run headed straight across the bay. Thinking how dumb that was as my harness lines were set for an 8.0 foiling sail (way back) and felt really back hand heavy... but that was my top KM and 2sec... so clearly I need to get used to sailing like that more.
Stayed under the safety of the kiters awnings after that. Gybing the big swell in the middle took a bit of adjustment... flip early, send the board almost straight downwind on the face of a wave, flip feet, then head back. the swell was at a very odd angle to the wind. Much easier gybing in the shallows!
I expect any smarties to be stollen on the weekend :
