Stretch (30716km): Koombana Bay, WA, AU. Nice foil sesh with Otts Supercruiser/6.0GPX
Lombok (6162km): Halls Head, WA, AU
Hardie (35723km): Liptons nice fresh seabreeze picking up as the arvo went on, as forecast WTF believes forecasts? I was finished at one stage then the wind booted in and had 3 more runs each a couple of knots faster than my best for the day which was my first run with 35.37kts display. Thought I had a good alpha must have been outside 50m arc? Fave gear TR16 6.3m Mistral Speed 95/55 Pepeweed 22/48.
Decrepit (54500km): Numbers belie both what I felt and expected. So although conditions were great, and the runs felt fast, the numbers don't match. I guess that's speed sailing.
Joined Remery, Hardie and Woody, at Liptons, closely followed by Shane and Antman. Fire and Chris arrived in the Valiant to distract us, but Waricle waited till we were on the water. Conditions looked much better than yesterday, so I rigged the same stuff, 48cm board 5.7 KA speed and 20cm@40/60 fin That's interesting fastes run doesn't look as broad. Either the others are too deep or there was a wind shift
remery (5218km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU What a great sail. Everyone was on the water except Waricle, who was driving around like a modern day Sonny Crockett.
(Mu-) fin (15418km): Peel,Coodanup, WA. AU. Wow, I saw something, totally unexpected.... fangy on a "dedly tedly" towing his board down to the water..!!????. Well it was a fun day out. Old WT FR 52, Bobs nice Ka Kon6.6, 50/22cm weed, thanks again for the sail Bob, its a beauty. Gota go now.
Shane121 (6794km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Quick trip to mandurah to pick up some sails from Dale Great to catch up with some northern sailors and a quick sail at liptons before driving home . jp 60 , loft speedblade 6.1, tribal delta 18.
fangy (22667km): One board, one sail and Deadly Treadly to get there. What could possibly go wrong? As it turned out, nothing! What a fab session. After sorta being a bit lacking in the mojo last week, I had decided that at the very least I would get a ride on the bike and see if the windsurf cart was a do-able option. I rode down to the foreshore and found Pas already lurking and smirking about my prowess on said bike in the face of a decent sea breeze. But having finally got to rigging spot with quads burning, it was a doddle to rig and get ready. One board, one sail and away. I am now pretty comfy on the WT Cruise and I am loving this board. I had the Koncept 7.0 and FF22 combo and simply just went everywhere. The board is sooo good in chop, just point down the line and hang on till you chicken out, or just smash it going uphill, the faster the better. I settled on runs across the estuary from Creery Island to Yunderup. To keep things interesting it had relatively small chop at either end, a big section of organised and comfy chop lines and then a short section of somewhat mental stuff on the northern side of the channel. I am not sure which bit I enjoyed the most, and I had a hoot all arvo. If there was a down side it was simply being punched in the crown jewels by a unexpected mogul peak. Never had that happen before, but gee it focussed the mind for a few minutes! I came in, packed my one board, one sail on to my cart and rode home. Simples. Defo the Top Ten Fangy Day of Summer.

Swindy (10125km): Rockingham Beach. Alien 145, SC 1300 wing, Enduro 5.4 then Force 4.7 Chasing the wind kind of day and therefor overpowered all the time. Should have gone 4.7 then 4.2. Still, it was a fun work out in trying conditions, |
