Liptons, What a Sweet sail that was. Breeze about 15 to 20kts, SSE direction meant sailing almost parrallel to shore, I was only one out. Anytime you see 34kts on the dial feels good. Not sure why no-one elase was out a few would've beeen stuck at work, one or two are lazy bastards, the rest???

In a worrying development two escapees from St Hughies retreat for the wierdly optimistic have transitioned fron the acute to the chronic phase of Optimism. This does not bode well forthe mental health of the Mandurah mobsters.

Hardie, yesterday, the forecast for Peel Inlet was not good, so you got lucky! As I type this at 11.30am the Perth forecast is for 22knots, the Inner Dolphin pylon is reporting 12knots and I've just been down to the river at Pelican Point and it's almost becalmed. I reckon meteorological forecasting is 50% science, 30% interpretation and 20% luck.....if your lucky!
